Things are moving right along for the Release of MiCKi’s “Peace and Quiet” CD - – a re-release of her 2010 collection that was dropped online only.  Having major struggles that nearly took her out and off the music scene, she fought the road of recovery via local singing competitions and is ready to come back hard.   New music is in the pipeline and locals will see her in the Central Virginia area working the crowds before hitting the studio.

Check out @ALDF’s Tweet:

MiCKi had a great performance at the new event hosted by 96.9 The Rock and Safford Dodge at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds on May 17, 2014.  The Spotsylvania Wine Festival was an event that hosted area vinyards offering guests a taste of Virginia.  Feet tapping, glasses raised and clean enough for the kids to dance in the hay.  A variety of local performers were in the line-up with MiCKi as the energetic closer to wrap-up the day long event.  Thanks to Third Stream Music studios for providing sound.

If you had a chance to see MiCKi’s show, leave a comment or send a message.  Remember to #danceforme My #VirginiaRebels

Ask the Star Radio Group at 96.9 The Rock, 99.3 The Vibe or 93.3 WFLS to add MiCKi O’Hearn to your favorite festival line-up in the Central VA area.
You can also email for more information.

Check out the video clip of MiCKi performing ZZ Top’s “Tush”:

After performing 2 songs, MiCKi got 2nd place in the 99.3 the Vibe’s Burg Idol. This is the 10-year Anniversary of the competition.  She performed her first song from the judge’s choice doing P! nk’s “Raise Your Glass” with her second song as Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten”.  The crowd got into the energy of her performance.

Had a lovely time at the PSV Annual Awards Banquet and was honored to read my 1st place winner “MiCKi’s Coffeehouse Rap”. Also performed a cappella.
Guy Terrell brought tears to my eyes when he read his winning poem in the category Bill and I sponsor called “Honoring Fatherhood”. Such beautiful and thought-provoking works!
Lunch at the Boar’s Head Inn was quite nice and the conversations amongst the writers. ……..fantastic!

After a Rockin’ performance of Audioslave’s “Show Me How To Live”, MiCKi moves on to the Burg Idol finale. Check it out on Friday April 25 at 8pm.  $10.00
A lot of great local talent, sure to bring an amazing night of music!
